Getting Tracked Through Your Computer

Well apparently everything you have ever done on your computer can be traced and your deleted files can be backed up. I have a friend who always made sure to delete files that he didn’t want others to see, as well as emails and internet history. The problem is that he didn’t know that your computer automatically saves little backups, or footprints of everything you do on your computer.
Using a very easy to get recovery program, his wife recovered a bunch of deleted emails that showed him flirting with one of his ex-girlfriends and even talking about how he had cheated on her. By using these files as evidence, she took him to court and divorced him, taking everything he was worth. Now I don’t feel bad for him because he was a bad husband, but I really had no idea about how easy it was to recover deleted files.
This incident urged me to tell others that just because they’ve deleted files and emails from their computer, it doesn’t mean that they’re gone for good. You need to find a privacy controller, or some type of program that will find these deleted files and clear all references to them. Finding these programs isn’t hard, but finding a good working one that isn’t a scam can be.
I very highly recommend that anyone who doesn’t already know about this stuff download a free paper called Your Computer Privacy Is At Risk. This report will teach you a lot about how these footprints get stored on your computer, where they get stored, and how to get rid of them. Even if you don’t have anything to hide on your computer, you probably don’t want people to have the ability to look through all of your deleted emails and files.
